Youth in Revolt: A Refreshing Comedy
The Youth in Revolt is heading for a January 8. 2010 US Box Office release with some eagerness and interests doing the rounds. This film is directed by Miguel Arteta and the screenplay and the novel writers are respectively Gustin Nash and C.D. Payne. This film is yet another addition to the comedy flicks of Hollywood but would start the New Year. The film is produced by Dimension Films and is supported by Permut Presentations and Shangri-La Entertainment.
This film would do a whole world of good if it finds its place along the top quality Hollywood flicks and has a new female lead. The storyline of the Youth in Revolt surrounds a virgin boy who is passing through his adolescence and eventually finds out that the girl for whom he has fallen will keep her happy all throughout. This film will portray a comedian drama and romantic flick.
Michael Cera plays the role of a virgin teenager, Nick Twisp and falls for a rather cheerful girl, Sheeni Saunders. With the merry making getting over soon as the summer ends and Nick having to move out realizes that this is actually the girl to be with. But eventually Nick gets over his usual cozy manners which would not be enough to get the girl and turns a bad guy in order to get back the girl. As such some interesting and hilarious exploits take place. The lead cast of Youth in Revolt includes Michael Cera, new comer Portia Doubleday (Sheeni Saunders), Ray Liotta, Justin Long, Jean Smart, Steve Buscemi, Fred Willard and many more.
