Tooth Fairy
Movie Title: Tooth Fairy
Description: "The Tooth Fairy," also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" -- bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes... doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

Tooth Fairy: The Original Sweet Tooth arrives with the new name
The Tooth Fairy would be hitting the US theaters on January 22, 2010 and is actually the much-desired project named the Sweet Tooth, which was planned since 1992. This film has been tagged as a comedy movie that involves fantasy. This movie is directed by Michael Lembeck and the screenplay writers are Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel. Blumhouse Productions are the main producers and distributors of this movie and are doing the production job after the 2008 flick, The Accidental Husband.
The Tooth Fairy has got everything to do with handling a bicuspid tooth as a Tooth Fairy and Dwayne Johnson or The Rock is the main attraction of this flick. Dwayne Johnson is playing the role of a minor hockey league player and the story continues with Johnson (Derek Thompson) nicknamed as the Tooth Fairy being tough upon opposing players owing to the bicuspids goes along discouraging a young player and thus being sent to a sentence as the real Tooth Fairy. Therefore, the film would be interesting to watch how Dwayne Johnson eventually handles the tooth.
The entire cast of Tooth Fairy includes Julie Andrews, Ashley Judd after a while, Billy Crystal, Ben Geldreich, Alex Ferris, Chase Ellison, Josh Emerson, Barclay Hope, Christina Schild, Maya Washington, Brendan Perry, Brendan Meyer, Darien Provost, Jill Morrison, Juno Ruddell and many others. This film was originally supposed and though as a project since 1992 with the name Sweet Tooth in mind and Arnold Schwarzenegger was scheduled to play the lead but the film had been modified and will be releasing in this New Year.
The plot is not bad for a comedy flick filled with some fantasy. It happens to be seen how The Rock portrays his unconventional role out from his normal nature of action hero. It is already on a high with 18 percent movie meter popularity.
